MHGU Quest Bingo

Pick a grid size, choose which pools fill the squares, then hit New Card. Click a square when you've done it. Complete a row, column or diagonal for a bingo.

Pools

• Monsters — hunt a monster at a given rank, e.g. Hunt Rathalos (High Rank). A monster huntable at more than one rank gets a square for each.
• Weapons — clear anything with a given weapon and style, plus one square per Prowler bias when Prowler is included.
• Objectives — one per box in the Objectives panel: capture something, clear a Hyper quest, clear a Special Permit. Untick a box and its square goes too.
• Talismans — something worth melding for: a rarity by name, a slot count, or a skill. Never skill points or two-skill combos — those are a grind rather than a square you tick off. The skills offered are the nine that can roll on any talisman.
• Custom — whatever you add yourself.

Goals are always checked against your filters first, so a card will never ask for something you've excluded, or for a rank you've filtered out.

Colours

A square's outline tells you which filter put it there.

Weapon squares use that weapon's own colour instead:

Marking a square keeps its colour but lightens it and draws a cross through it. A completed line overrides all of that and fills the squares solid, in a colour picked to contrast with whatever theme you're using.

Seeds

Every card has a seed like MHGU-5F-M4W3O2C3-K7T2NX-9C4A, shown in the title bar. Paste one back to rebuild that card.

The seed carries your grid size and pool weights, but not your filters or your custom entries — there's no room. So what happens when someone else loads it depends on how the card was made:

• Made on the default pools and filters — which is every card the bot rolls — it rebuilds exactly for anyone, even someone who has since customised their own settings. The app spots that and rebuilds using the defaults.
• Made with your own filters or custom squares, it can't be rebuilt from 28 characters. It still generates, and a banner says plainly that it may not match.

To share a card whose squares are exactly yours, set your channel under the Twitch button and use Use the card you're looking at. That sends the board on screen to your channel, so !currentcard and its link show it — custom squares and all, whatever settings the person opening it has.

Twitch

Three ready-made bot commands, under the Twitch button. Log in and your channel is filled in for you, so they come out complete — copy, paste, done, with nothing in them to edit. They keep working however many cards you make.

• !bingo rolls a brand-new card for whoever runs it and prints the seed alongside the link. It needs nothing set up first.
• !currentcard points at the stream's current card, for when chat should follow along with yours.
• !setcurrentcard rolls a new card and makes it the stream's. Restrict this one to moderators — anyone who can run it can reroll your card.

Cards the bot rolls use the default pools and filters, which is why the seed it prints reproduces exactly for whoever pastes it.

Rerolling

Hover a square and hit ↻ to swap just that goal. Once you do, the seed no longer rebuilds the card — it's marked edited and you'll need a share link to pass it on.

Marks and settings are saved in this browser. Printing (Ctrl‑P) gives a clean black-and-white card.

Nightbot takes the whole $(urlfetch …) line as the command text; Moobot and most others want the plain URL dropped into their own URL-fetch tag instead, not as the command itself. Both forms are listed below.

Rolls a brand-new card and replies with a link plus its seed, so chat can either open that exact board or rebuild it here. Works on its own — nothing to publish first.

Points chat at your stream's current card so they can follow along.

Rolls a fresh board and makes it the stream's card, so !currentcard immediately points at the new one. Restrict this to moderators — there's no secret in the URL, so the bot's own permissions are what stop a viewer rerolling your card.

Makes the board currently on screen your stream's card, so !currentcard points at it. Use this when you've built one with your own filters or custom squares — !setcurrentcard rolls from the defaults and can't reproduce those. It's a snapshot, so send again after making changes.
